There are far better ways of writing something romantic rather than "Hey, I like dat D". In Bioware games, romantic dialogue is frequently overly flirty, and as much as I love romance, that kind of thing does come off as at least a little cringy to me. I also rather appreciate the available dialogue options in romantic scenarios. So props to Larian on that (and the rest of their amazing game). I thoroughly enjoyed it as a fan of the romance genre. Getting a glance at the soft side of a character who's otherwise fairly dark and gruff is really nice. It's really adorable seeing a character who's had a history as a hardened soldier and cold-hearted killer act somewhat bashfully in a romantic situation.
